HID Kits - HID lights over traditional halogen bulbs
Once you understand the benefits of HID lights over traditional halogen bulbs, the next natural step is to figure out a way to replace your existing low-efficiency bulbs with powerful and superior HID lights. In order to help you do that, there are HID kits (or Xenon kits) available on the market.
The xenon kit contains all the necessary parts you need to change your halogen light to a xenon light. You get two xenon bulbs, a dual or two single counterbalances, connectors and wiring to replace the halogen light, and a user manual with a guide. The user manual contains all the information about the kits and the guide provides step-by-step instructions to install the HID kit in your car.
HID kits, as the name High Intensity Discharge kits suggests, can provide you 3 times more light while driving at night so that you can see the road 3 times better than you do with halogen headlights. The bulbs that are provided with the kit are more reliable and three times brighter than the normal halogen bulbs. The accompanying slim counterbalances in the kits make it easy to install these bulbs in your car. These kits are made of high-quality controls and high-end electrical parts.
Now, you might be wondering why you can't just exchange the halogen bulbs for HID bulbs. HID Kitsusually come with everything you would need to install HID lights. It is very important that you pay attention to the temperature at which the bulb burns as it will affect the color of light that you see. Lastly, it is important to remember that since HID uses a different mechanism than a regular lighting system that HID bulbs are not interchangeable with halogen bulbs.

How does a projector headlight look with halogen bulbs?
I know typically projector headlights are used with HID lights, but my motorcycle's electronics doesn't allow the use of HID. The team and I have given up on hope of modifying it. Curious how a projector headlight would look with halogen bulbs. Just dimmer? Can someone please describe it or show a photo? link to a photo? That would be super helpful. Thanks a ton!
If it's a projector it would probably look the same with either type of lamp, given that the lamp is hidden behind the lens. Your major issues will be heat dispersion (but I don't know what gets hotter - the HID or the halogen) and the ability to find a halogen lamp that will fit behind the projector lens if it was actually meant to have an HID lamp.
